Jack Grimes is an Analyst at Commodore Capital. Prior to joining Commodore, Jack was a life sciences investor at B Capital, a global venture capital firm, where he focused on private biotech investments. Prior to B Capital, Jack was a strategy consultant at ClearView Healthcare Partners, advising biopharmaceutical clients on target selection, indication prioritization, and clinical development strategy.

Jack earned his BA in Molecular and Cell Biology, Business Administration, and Spanish Linguistics from the University of California, Berkeley, where he graduated with highest distinction.

Jack grew up in Los Angeles, California, and enjoys playing basketball, traveling, and exploring New York City.
