James Plaut is an Analyst at Commodore Capital. Prior to joining Commodore, James spent two years at Bain Capital Life Sciences. Prior to Bain Capital Life Sciences, he was an Analyst and later Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company, where he focused on healthcare and life sciences.

James earned his BA in Physics and Chemistry from Harvard University, where he graduated magna cum laude and was a member of the lightweight crew team.

James grew up in London and enjoys classical music, running, and tennis.
